Fort and Palace Tour : Day 01. Delhi Sightseeing


Morning is at leisure. Afternoon sightseeing in Old Delhi. include red fort, old city, Jama Masjid, “Kutab Minar” which is 71 meter high and was constructed in 1199.Before we proceed to the Hotel we have a drive through New Delhi where we see the India Gate, Government Buildings and Embassies.

Fort and Palace Tour : Day 02. Delhi - Mandawa Travel


Today drive to Mandawa a compact little town of Shekhawati region, Arrive and check in into hotel. In the afternoon visit Havelis & beautiful frescoes. The medieval fort of Mandawa gradually rises on the horizon like a mirage. A painted arched gateway adorned with Lord Krishna and his cows leads to the bazaar. Overnight at hotel.

In the morning drive to Nawalgarh - the town where the finest of the Shekhavati's frescoes can be seen. It's havelis still bear witness to the rich & prosperous Marwari era of the 19th century. Worth visiting are the Aath Haveli complex, Anandilal Poddar haveli, Bansidhar Bhagat haveli & Chokhani haveli. Drive to Bikaner - Vale of Serenity, upon arrival check in into hotel. Today enjoy city tour covering Junagadh Fort - constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Rai Singh, fort has a 986 metre long wall with 37 bastions & two entrances, Bhand Sagar Temple - The 16th century Jain temple, is the most important of this temple complex, Camel Breeding Farm - a unique experience where you can ride on a camel & have perhaps the first taste of camel's milk. Today we drive through the desert and proceed for Jaisalmer via Osian.Osian is a great centre of Hindu and Jain religions. The oldest Temple here was constructed in 1178 AD. Very often one can see along the road to Jaisalmer some of the antelopes of this region. Blackbuck and fast running chinkara are the most common among them.We have a stop enroute at a village to observe the traditional life of the villages in Rajasthan. We arrive in Jaisalmer in the late evening.

Sightseeing of the medieval city of Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer's crenellated golden sandstone walls and its narrow streets lined with exquisitely carved buildings makes this city unique. Jaisalmer is famous for its carved havellis (grand mensions). In medieval times, its prosperity was due to its location on the main trade route linking India to Egypt, Arabia, Africa and the West. Jaisalmer is a marvel of beautiful culture and this city remains one of the most exotic city not only in Rajasthan but in the whole of India. We have a walk through the old city and visit the Fort and the Jain temple. In the afternoon we drive around 40 km. Away from Jaisalmer to san dunes where we enjoy the sunset before we drive back to Jaisalmer.

No trip to Jaisalmer is complete without a visit to the most picturesque dunes. This day you will visit Sam sand dunes. The ripples on the wind-caressed dunes create enchanting mirages. Adventure freaks can go out on a camel safari- getting the real feel of the desert on the camel back. Overnight at hotel.

Early morning drive to Jodhpur. The city was once the capital of the princely state of Marwar (Land of death). Jodhpur is the second largest city in Rajasthan. Jodhpur is also known as the blue city as most of the houses of the old city are painted blue. The old city is surrounded by a huge 10 km long wall which has 101 bastions and seven gates.Jodhpur lies on the once strategic Delhi-Gujrat trading route and the marwaris benefited from the passing traffic of opium, copper, silk which was traded to China. We will visit the Mehrangarh Fort(majestic fort). Mehrangarh Fort was built on a steep hill and is among the best in India with exquisitely latticed windows in residential apartments within. We also visit the Jaswant Thada, a royal cenotaph built in white marble.

In the morning drive to Udaipur enroute visiting Ranakpur temples - the pilgrimage centre of Rajasthan a few of the numerous temples are Chaturmukh temples. Arrive and check in into hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Today we visit Udaipur. We start our sightseeing with the visit of Sahelion-Ki-Bari. Museum of folk art. After a break we proceed to city palace, the biggest Palace in India. The museum of the palace includes the beautiful peacock mosaic and miniature wall paintings of Indian mythology. Rest day at leisure..

Fort and Palace Tour : Day 12. Udaipur to  - Jaipur Tour.


In the morning half take a city tour covering Jagat Pita Shri Brahma Temple - The only exquisite temple dedicated to Lord Brahma, Apteshwar Mahadeo Temple - Dedicated to Lord Shiva: head towards Jaipur not missing the Dargah of Sufi Saint Moinuddin Chishti, entered through a high gateway with silver doors. The grave of the saint is surrounded by a silver railing. Arrive and check in into hotel. Overnight at hotel.

In the morning take an excursion to Amer fort with joy ride on an Elephant. In the afternoon take a city tour covering City Palace - occupies a large area divided into a series of courtyards, gardens & buildings and a perfect blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture, Royal Observatory - An observatory with some rare qualities to its credit, Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli - and the Bazaar etc. Overnight at hotel.

Today Morning after having breakfast we drive to Delhi. Rest of the day in Hotel and then Flight to Home Destination

Day 02: Delhi


Enjoy a full day tour of the capital city of India (a perfect mix of the history & modernity). We visit architectural masterpieces from the Mughal era to the British era & to the present day. The sights would include the Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat & the Qutab Minar among others.

Day 03: Agra


We start after a leisurely breakfast and reach Agra stopping at Sikandra - a pyramidal tomb of the greatest Mughal emperor Akbar. After checking in, we visit the most adorable monument of the World- The Taj Mahal. We also visit the Agra Fort & Itmadullah.

Day 04:Jaipur


We proceed westwards to the forbidden city of Akbar - Fatehpur Sikri and see the dream of Akbar in shape. Further we continue our journey to the Pink City. (We also have the option of visiting the Bird Sanctuary at Bharatpur - depending upon the time of the year). For the evening we drive up to Nahargarh fort and take a breathtaking view of sprawling Pink City getting red at sunset.

Day 05: Jaipur


Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of PINK CITY (the city was colored pink in honour of the visit of the Prince of Wales in 1876). The tour includes visit to the Amber fort on an elephants back, city palace complex & the astronomical tower. Evening free for leisure or shopping.

Day 06: Jodhpur to Jaisalmer


We fly to Jodhpur and drive straight to the land of desert - Jaisalmer. The remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight in Jaisalmer.

Day 07: Jaisalmer


We start out leisurely to see the various attractions in the town such as the incomparable & still inhabited fort, the temples, Havelis, palaces, Gadsisar tank and the maze of lanes and by-lanes. After some rest at the hotel we get into the adventure spirit & drive towards the Sum sand dunes, we enjoy a camel ride on the never ending dunes at Sunset. Later enjoy full throated Rajasthani music, ballads & dances in a desert camp. Overnight in Swiss tents camp in the middle of the desert.

Day 08: Rohetgarh/ Jodhpur


We travel through the village of Kheechan and further through the ancient town Osian finally reaching the Suncity Jodhpur. At Jodhpur we visit imposing Mehrangarh Fort and the gleaming white Jaswant Thada. We check into a heritage fort Jodhpurn the.
